THE JOURNEY
The ladies of Conrad Creative were blessed to have a one-of-a-kind life altering product introduced to them in March of 2011. This product was the healincomfort surgical shirt. Designed by a breast cancer survivor, this shirt allows patients the opportunity to heal in comfort after surgery. It is a super soft shirt made with hydrophilic properties and includes internal pockets for drainage tubes as well as velcro fasteners for ease of use. Since their introduction to this product, the ladies of Conrad Creative have had their world turned around completely.
After meeting with breast cancer surgery patients, nurses and doctors the ladies of Conrad Creative decided to create a non-profit called The Ultimate Healing Kit to assist women and men preparing to undergo breast surgery and give them the opportunity to heal in comfort and dignity. The goal is to ensure these men and women are given the proper equipment after their surgery to help them heal with a specific kit, The Ultimate Healing Kit, which includes all of the items needed. By raising the money to cover the cost of the kits, each man and woman would be given a free kit after they come out of a breast cancer related surgery.
After introducing The Ultimate Healing Kit to the marketplace in September 2011, the Conrad Creative ladies saw an overwhelming response to the kits in the local community. Many businesses and individuals wanted to sponsor kits to be donated to local hospitals and breast surgery centers. People in the local community wanted to help local people battling breast cancer. The ladies decided to create an event which would give people an opportunity to support these local patients and facilities. This is how Revvin for the Ribbon was born!
ABOUT THE EVENT
Revvin' for the Ribbon will feature three events this year to benefit local breast surgery patients-An Antique Car and Auto Show, A Pink Out Airhogs Baseball Game and A Motorcycle Rally and Benefit Concert.
The first event will be a motorcycle and auto show on March 23rd from 3-6pm. The event will be held at Quick Trip Park in Grand Prairie, TX and will highlight exciting motorcycles and cars from all over the region. During the event there will also be a silent auction, live music and a tricycle race to involve the kids in the fun.
The second event will be a Pink Out Airhogs Baseball game on June 22nd. The players will wear pink jerseys and we will honor survivors during the game. 50% of all ticket sales will be donated back to the Ultimate Healing Kit.
The third event on September 21st will consist of a motorcycle rally through the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, an expo featuring vendors in the breast cancer community and a benefit concert featuring uplifting music and stories from breast cancer survivors. More details to come!

Goals and Purpose of Revvin' for the Ribbon
- All proceeds raised will provide the Ultimate Healing Kit to patients at local hospitals and surgery centers - Goal of at least 200 kits
- Bring awareness to the community about the needs of breast surgery patients
- Expected attendance will be at least 500 riders and 500 spectators
- As part of the expo we are inviting vendors who offer educational opportunities that relate to all aspects of breast surgery and breast cancer or who support the breast cancer community.
- Mammogram Exams will be available to assist with the need for early detection
We want to thank all of the individuals and companies that have and continue to support this effort. With events like Revvin' for the Ribbon we hope to make a large impact on breast cancer surgery patients everywhere. Many organizations raise funds for the battle before breast cancer; our goal is to also raise funds to support the women and men that are battling now. In due time, we hope that with community assistance and awareness Revvin' for the Ribbon will assist with the fight against breast cancer.

1pm-Cars, Motorcycles and Vendors arrive for set up
3pm-Event Starts-Free auto and motorcycle show, live music provided by 360 South, food, vendor booths, silent auction, tricycle races, face painting and a bounce house. Vote for your favorite car and your favorite motorcycle in the show!
5:30pm-Bidding stops for the silent auction and voting stops for the best car and best motorcycle
6pm-Winners for the silent auction announced, People's Choice cash prizes awarded to Best Motorcycle and Best Car

Ultimate Healing Kit
All of the proceeds from the Revvin' for the Ribbon event will go to providing The Ultimate Healing Kit to patients throughout the Metroplex undergoing breast cancer surgery. The Ultimate Healing Kit provides breast cancer patients tools to help them heal in comfort and dignity after a surgical procedure. The kit was designed with overwhelming insight from breast surgery patients, breast cancer survivors and doctors and includes:
