THE JOURNEY
The ladies of Conrad Creative were blessed to have a one-of-a-kind life altering product introduced to them in March of 2011. This product was the healincomfort surgical shirt. Designed by a breast cancer survivor, this shirt allows patients the opportunity to heal in comfort after surgery. It is a super soft shirt made with hydrophilic properties and includes internal pockets for drainage tubes as well as velcro fasteners for ease of use. Since their introduction to this product, the ladies of Conrad Creative have had their world turned around completely.
One of the ladies was touched personally by the benefits of the product when her mother was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in May 2011. This diagnosis shined a light on the true meaning of this journey. There are women and men everywhere battling this disease and in need of assistance. This has become the goal for the ladies of Conrad Creative. They decided to create a non-profit called The Ultimate Healing Kit and assist women and men preparing to undergo breast surgery and give them the opportunity to heal in comfort and dignity. With overwhelming insight from breast surgery patients, breast cancer survivors and doctors Conrad Creative designed The Ultimate Healing Kit.
After introducing The Ultimate Healing Kit to the marketplace in September 2011, the Conrad Creative ladies saw an overwhelming response to the kits in the local community. Many businesses and individuals wanted to sponsor kits to be donated to local hospitals and breast surgery centers. People in the local community wanted to help local people battling breast cancer. The ladies decided to create an event which would give people an opportunity to support these local patients and facilities. This is how Revvin for the Ribbon was born!
ABOUT THE EVENT
Revvin' for the Ribbon is a community event benefiting breast surgery patients and consisting of a motorcycle rally through the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, an expo featuring vendors in the breast cancer community and a benefit concert featuring uplifting music and stories from breast cancer survivors.
Goals and Purpose of Revvin' for the Ribbon
- All proceeds raised will provide the Ultimate Healing Kit to patients at local hospitals and surgery centers - Goal of at least 200 kits
- Bring awareness to the community about the needs of breast surgery patients
- Expected attendance will be at least 500 riders and 1000 spectators
- As part of the expo we are inviting vendors, speakers, counselors, and educational opportunities that relate to all aspects of breast surgery and breast cancer
- Mammogram Exams at Tarrant County Community College Southeast Campus – to assist with the need for early detection
We want to thank all of the individuals and companies that have and continue to support this effort. With events like Revvin' for the Ribbon we hope to make a large impact on breast cancer surgery patients everywhere. Many organizations raise funds for the battle before breast cancer; our goal is to also raise funds to support the women and men that are battling now. In due time, we hope that with community assistance and awareness Revvin' for the Ribbon will assist with the fight against breast cancer.

This is a metal tree that will be placed in the center of the venue for participants to place names and prayers on for their friends and loved ones. Sponsor will receive company name displayed on a plaque on the tree, recognition in catalog, 10 tickets to the expo/concert

Ultimate Healing Kit
All of the proceeds from the Revvin' for the Ribbon event will go to providing The Ultimate Healing Kit to patients throughout the Metroplex undergoing breast cancer surgery. The Ultimate Healing Kit provides breast cancer patients tools to help them heal in comfort and dignity after a surgical procedure. The kit was designed with overwhelming insight from breast surgery patients, breast cancer survivors and doctors and includes:

- the book "Off the Rack" by Genae Girard-chronicles of a 30 something breast cancer survivor
- an "I'm Winning My Battle" bracelet

- A lanyard to use for the shower to manage the drain tubes
